Welcome to the preschool website.

We are excited and energetic and have much to offer. We hope to be setting the stage for lifelong learning and encourage the start of positive social skills that will develop and master as the children grow. We (Sue and Carla) have over 50 years experience as preschool teachers and are continually educating and upgrading with the times and needs of our children and families.

We have an open door policy and encourage parents to come and watch their child learn and play. All activities encourage, physical development, intellectual development, language development, emotional development and social development.

Our program is rich, stimulating and fun and includes:

  • Active play or Gross motor play: climber, bikes, wagons, obstacle courses etc.
  • Creative Play activities: such as painting, colouring, play dough, water play, beautiful junk gluing and pasting.
  • Circle time: thematic based songs and finger plays, games and alphabet
  • Snack time: a time to regenerate, socialize, practise our manners, share and plan for the next area of play.
  • Housekeeping and Dress Up Centre, 2 Library Centres, Computers, Puzzles, Construction toys, Blocks, Sand Play, Science, Music and Listening Centre, Sensory experiences, and more.
  • Story time at the end of the day lets the children know the day is over, it’s time to wind down and prepare for home.

Our program also includes special activities for the whole family, such as the Mickey Mouse Disco, Family Days, Snuggle Up and Read, Picnics, Trips, and Parties for various celebrations. A trip to Samco (toy warehouse in Toronto) is always planned in October. Parent workshops and information evenings are also planned.

We continue to participate in “Raising the Bar” through ASCY, a voluntary community standards program for licensed, centre-based child care in Hamilton. We believe this shows our commitment to deliver high quality child care for our community. We hope you can stop by and see our program.

    Sue and Carla.
